Well, there's another sign of the end times. Next thing, we're gonna be told we have to be tattooed on the forehead with "yiff". It's a conspiracy I tells ya!

:P

That's just too damn funny to be anything but par for the course from the people who still can say "military" and "intelligence" in the same sentence with a straight face and all seriousness.

Wait a minute.

Haven't we been covering in the forums how the feds were trying to monitor furry activity?
This looks furry to me; how would something like this even get approval?

I thought that was a joke

if the government ever started expending effort monitering furries I'd move to canada where taxes were better spent.

What kind of scary kids want to grow up to work for the NSA anyway? And since when does the NSA even care about public relations? The world's gone mad!

I posted the link on my LJ. One of my friends went in, and because she loves brainteasers, went ahead and solved the one on the site.

Apparently, the brainteaser, as it's written has no right answer.

We must remember that some people still think of cartoon anthropomorphic characters as harmless funny animals. They've not been to a furry con, or seen that CSI episode, and so forth and don't make the mental connection.

So we get this attrocity.

They could just be using funny animals as their mascots, y'know. Now you're being guilty of labelling any anthropomorphic critters as furry.

Me, I was more appalled at the idea of the NSA having a kid's site. This is where it begins! How long before it's not just fun games with codes and cyphers, and little insinuations to turn in your mom and pop if you think they're "terrorists"?

Also, go check out their brainteasers, particularly the ones that aren't glorified math problems. See if you can spot the inherent sexism! I also like the one where Crypto Cat™ has to figure out which of her friends is secretly a FILTHY TERRORIST SPY.

IAWTP. Lots of organisations use animal mascots and never give furries a thought. But NSA? What's next? Heroic CIA agent squirrels?

There's nothing wrong with patriotism, intelligence services, etc. The wrong thing is leading these kids to the conclusion that this is simply brain teasers. NSA work is for serious business-like adults with a committment to it. I don't see their effort as indoctrination, but I do see it as a little wrong.

CSI? Dig around torrent sites. #406, 'Fur and Loathing'.

Also: Yiffstar is the government furry tracking site. The NSA is far too obvious.

Oh right I think I see what you're talking about (after doing a right-click and "View Image"; apparently the Democratic People's Republic of Korea does not believe in democratically sharing the people's images with hotlinkers). Anyway there're rumours on the internets that Kim Jong Il is a Daffy Duck fan, so it can't be all bad, right ???

So, would these cookies from the main NSA site also be used on the "for kids" NSA site/(the furry NSA)?

And so it was that all men, great and small, old and young, fan and lifestyler, must receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,so that no one could buy or sell art unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast.
Here is wisdom:
Let him that hath understanding reckon the word of the beast,
for it is a furry's word.
The word is Y,I,F,F.

Horrible newbie post, I know, but I couldn't resist.
