I have to admit, PoE was one of my gateway drugs. They were really anti-furry, and linked to some of the worst shit, but also, Kemono Island, and (sigh) Frank Gembeck.
PoE made my furry afflcition worse in '01 or so. gg, guys. |

I was expecting this. I didn't, however, expect the site description to be so horribly out of date. We qualify for PoE all right, no doubt about that though. |

It's the "Minerva Mink fanart" reference that makes you wonder if they even looked the site over. |

I think they're referencing this thing. Haaa! Warner Brothers has shut down the infamous jhooten archive of shitty Minerva art. Maybe lawyers aren't SO bad after all. |

Sure, but scroll down to the bottom of the page:
"On 3/3/04 this site was asked to be closed down by Warner Bros. After negotiating, Warner Bros suggested I restrict inappropriate artwork, so on 3/24/03 this was put into effect. If there is any problems please email me so I can fix them. I want to thank all the people who emailed me their support, it helped."
Thank god the VHS screencaps with pixelated MSPaint doggydicks are no longer publically accessable. This is new, however, the page I read yesterday merely had the first sentence, and attempting to click any link (Yeah, I'm the guy who willingly returns to goatse to ensure it's still there... I'm that retarded.) resulted in a password request, and eventual 403. |

T WARNER BROS:
WHY DO YOU GIVE A FUCKING SHIT
What the hell do they care? The pictures will never, ever, ever disappear from the internet, furries love having martyrs made of their bretheren, and above all no real harm is being done. (At least, nothing worth spending money to correct.) The nature of the internet today makes bothering to contact site owners in these cases a mindboggling excercise in futility.
I mean, a click on the "adult" section of the site will reveal that the stuff just got moved over to Yahoo Groups. WHERE IT'S APPARENTLY INVINCIBABLE |

The nature of the internet today makes bothering to contact site owners in these cases a mindboggling excercise in futility.
I've had one incident where my ISP admins contacted me about stuff on my site. I had some "anti furry" stuff, for lack of a better term. There was one of a predator-like alien skewering a deer (made to resemble Bucky Boy's style of deer) through the backside. The alien was making a comment regarding if the deer liked to screw inanimate objects, he could screw the spear. I also had a set of 3 pictures done in a style similar to Brute's KMFDM album covers. The theme was a character I created.. Mundane Guy. So, where the Brute covers usually read KMFDM, mine said Mundane Guy, and below the picture, the title. One was simply "Mundane Guy: No Fake Tail." Another showed Mundane Guy in Roman garb, his thumb turned down as if sentencing victims in an arena. The caption was "Mundane Guy: Opposeable Thumb." The final one showed Mundane Guy in a brawl with a wolf morph and titled "Mundane Guy: Fuck Furry."
Well, some furries got pissy about those pictures and complained to my ISP's administrative staff. I got a letter from them telling me about the complaint, and that they had reviewed the pictures. Since it wasn't against races, religions, other minorities, etc... they had no problem with them. In fact, they liked the artwork. But, the language was apparently contrary to their terms of service. So, they said as long as I took the strong language out, the pics were fine. So, "Fuck Furry" just got turned to "Furryizer."
I wish I still had the pics. They were pretty good stuff, IMO. But, they were lost when my apartment was destroyed by smoke and water from putting out a blaze in the adjoining apartment. |
