I was reminded of this yesterday when my wife and I were in the Disney store. If you've ever been in one of the stores that hasn't been remodeled to look like an Old Navy, they typically feature maquettes of characters such as the 101 Dalmations, the ostriches and crocodiles from Fantasia, and the classic Disney characters lining the upper reaches around the ceiling.
