Since people have been asking to see my art and know my secret alias, and since I'm thinking of making this one of my last posts and have little to lose, here's the deal.

I'm really an "average" furry artist.*

I started a furaffinity.net account because FA had all the features I was looking for: a system for comments, favorites and journal entries like DA/Sheezy/etc., but also allowed porn like VCL. The rampant cub, zoo and fan art would just have to be ignored. Unfortunetly, that coupled with it's instability means I'm likely to go back to VCL.

Oh yes, there's also my VCL gallery.

Notice the robots.txt file. I like that I can put that there and effectively erase my images off the internet (for the most part). It also keeps them off of Google image searches, which is nice. If you look hard enough though you might find an example of furporn I drew, it shouldn't be too hard.

Okay, that's it. I'm an average furry artist, not a naturaly talented nor a prolific one. No infamous history in the fandumb, no arm-length list of enemies, no drama, no stories to tell.

*You may notice I use the term "furry artist". I do so as a convenience, and it doesn't reallyreflect on myself at all. For so many people the word means one thing or another, but it has very little personal meaning to me. Outside of the context other people use it, it's not in my vocabulary; it's a foreign word.

Well, now I see what dramafags get out of "OMG I'm leabing teh intarweb 4ever!!!1!!1" type posts and the attention afterwards. Though somehow I get the feeling the people here would only fall for that once :wink:

I did want to hit 1000 posts, just because I haven't done it before, though like Zen said, you're not getting anything good out of it. It's the equivalent of eating nothing but junk food, all saccharine and greasy shit.

I don't think anyone can -or should- keep posting here forever. It's been a great stepping stone to getting out of this furry mess, and so far my last standing with the furrydom, a thing I never really got deep into anyway.

Either way, I'm still on in chat if I just suddenly disappear.

Considering my registration date that's a long way to go. Same reasons as Zen mentioned. Some big changes ahead and shit. I already quit smoking over a month ago and now the plan is to try to get in better shape, after that I plan to stop wasting my time smartassing on internet forums, wipe out the last tiny bit of memory of a thing called furry and, well, be more productive in both education and music.

EDIT: That would be rather furry, oui. And it would also take way too much time. Let's make it 444.

I dunno, I can't imagine setting a goal on how long I'll post on a forum. Zen Zhu had an assload of posts, so I can understand him wanting to go out on an even number, just for the heck of it. But to say "Well, I'm going to post to 400 then ease down a bit and keep posting to 407 then I'm gone" I simply don't have the time or forsight to keep track of that. I'll set goals for my diet, for school, for work, even for games, but I'm simply too lazy to monitor something as mundane as my net posting that closely. =)

I just want to be healthy, happy about myself and less attached to e-shit. That's all. I spend about two hours a day writing or reading worthless crud on internet forums and I could definitely use them better.
