The crossroads mall in Bellevue must be a furry nexus. Isn't that where all the Sibe showdowns occur?

This is a little old, but just popped up today in the Fursecution LJ. Another furry gets busted by the mall heat.

Everything seems so stupid.

I mean, I looked at that picture and blinked in surprise. So there are two security agents looking down at a folk with fake fluffy ears on his head. Ooookay.

Then, I click the link and see the other picture. The folk on the picture is probably unaware that he looks more ridiculous than a clown with those ears on the head. Why the public exposure of something that... ummm... idiotic? If you don't have a tail or... weird fluffy ears (because you happen NOT to be the animal you'd like to be), well, you don't have a tail or weird fluffy ears, and no prothesis (especially no CHEAP prothesis) is going to deny the fact that you've got no tail or weird fluffy ears. Why is this so hard to understand for some folks? :b

And he's sitting on the floor. And, judging by the pictures, he's being asked to stand up and sit like, you know, a person. Perhaps for safety reasons, perhaps for, well, who cares, 'cause he was freaking people out. Seems reasonable, no? The pink slip means that, despite his extremely elaborate animal costume, he couldn't fool the guards to think he was an animal. After all, animals don't get ban notifications. So then he's lucky he couldn't convince the guards he's a wolf or whatever: he would have been cornered, shot with a tranquilizer and then transported to a cage on some zoo.

And the third part is... why is he putting THIS on the Internet? To show how unfair is the mall 'cause they don't let him behave like at home? To display how evil humans are? Or is it simply that he likes to be ridiculized time after time?

Gah. Too stupid, I tell you.

What did this guy do? Sat on the floor , with his ears on, looking stopeed, and refusing to get up?

But he seemed to be with the other..... furs, dere?
Dunno what they are but IF he was with that crowd, then why did the dough-nutsies pick on him? =)

Seems tis very easy to get the terrorist treatment in US these days!

Would he even have a case? The mall is private property. The guards, being reps of the mall, can ask anyone to leave. If Captain Retard doesn't want to, they can force him to leave. The mall guards (rent-a-cops, I admit) tell him he can't come back, too fucking bad for him. He can't come back. Sucks to be him in several ways.

You know, I used to go to Crossroads mall all the time. Mostly for Wizards, to watch chess matches, eat Korean BBQ, play cards on Saturdays, and ... meet furs on Sundays for meets and movies. I don't anymore since I live in a different country now. Needless to say, I never met this guy.

That being said, I find this whole "fursecution" stupid. You can wear tails and ears or don a collar, I don't care. But refusing to conform to a mall code because you feel that somehow your ways are above it, that's just plain stupid. People should learn that in public, you're free to act as stupid as you can, but also know when such stupidity crosses codes and laws.

Frankly, I don't think he was arrested for refusing to get off the floor as much as violating code number 9.

Damn that RL picture sucks. He should have used the pic of him I keep using of him which was taken during my friend's wedding. He looks much happier and less pathetic in that one.
