Has Davis even written / drawn a Garfield comic in the last 5 years? Hell, is Davis even alive? Seems as though I once heard that "Jim Davis Incorporated" or whatever is just a bunch of people who write and draw crappy Garfield comics and brand them as being done by Davis himself.
You're correct on all counts, save the fact that Davis is alive, last I heard. He hasn't written or drawn the strip himself for a long time; he just puts his stamp of approval on various licensed products and collects obscene royalties. |
