This weekend I was there in person to see my beloved Los Angeles Galaxy win the MLS Cup. It was a nail-biter of a game, but there was one moment when I thought of CYD:

...Cosmo, the Galaxy mascot, beating up the Revs' mascot in front of our section. When the fox first showed up, someone in our section yelled out "Fuck you, furry!" and when I say someone, I mean me.

OK, so the furry connection is pretty tenuous, but I'm taking every opportunity to gloat about the win. =D

They haven't got a photo with Cosmo, I notice. Actually, the guy who plays Cosmo posts on our supporters' forum-- I'll tell him to knee these guys in the balls if they ever show up at the HDC wanting a photo.

Also, those pics remind me of our away trip to Chicago. We started up a "Sparky is a bitch" chant as soon as their mascot wandered over by our section. Good times.

My dog attacked a guy in a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle suit once. He had padding though.

Our school mascot got p0wn'd once too. It was in a football game against our rivals, the Cavaliers, and the mascot -- a moose -- got in a scuffle with the Cavaliers' human mascot and somehow got pushed over onto his back. And the costume was so fat, he couldn't get up again! It was like watching a turtle that got flipped over struggling to get back on his feet. Funny stuff.
