I am thankful that I have a family so wonderful and so supportive that they were willing to be there for me, step by step, all the way, in my efforts to find my own place to live.

I am thankful that, despite the myriad problems we are facing today, I still live in what is doubtless one of the best countries in the world.

I am thankful that I have people who I can call "friends" who have enough of a sense of humor that they can even stand to be around a dork like me.

I am thankful that I have a job which, while it's far from my dream career and doesn't pay all the money in the world, I can still go into every day without an intense sense of self-loathing and know that I'll get enough money to live in at least minimal comfort.

I am thankful I am not Danish.

I am thankful that I am in no way, shape or form related to the Bush and/or Cheney family.

I am thankful that I have ears with which I can hear laughter, eyes with which I can see a smile, a mouth with which I can tell a joke, feet with which I can dance, and arms with which I can hug a friend.

I am thankful that I don't have to listen to someone telling me that I'm going to Hell because my brain isn't wired the same way their's are... Not every day, anyway.

I am thankful that I had the intelligence to get a Mitsubishi Lancer, which gets 30 miles to a gallon, while everyone else was going SUV-crazy.

But most of all, I am thankful that, no matter what happens, no matter how bad things may get, no matter where I might end up, and no matter why things are the way they are... I'll always have a sense of humor to help me get through it, and that there will always be people that I can share it with.

I am thankful for my diverse herritage and my family who is both supportive and loving.

I am thankful that I am a citizen of the USA and Nicaragua.

I am thankful that I live on a property with squash, corn, chaguites, two cute puppies and one not so cute puppy.

I am thankful for the talents and sense of humor given to me and hope that I may one day use them to give back to humanity in some way, shape or form.

I am thankful for the opportunities given to me and only hope that I have enough wisdom to know how to use them best.

I am thankful that I am not Mexican.

I am thankful for my Nintendo Gamecube and computer.

I am thankful that I am not so close-minded that I deprive myself of activities which are fun, yet not so open-minded that I fall into situations that I would regret later on.

I am thankful that there are some members of the furry fandom who aren't batshit insane.

I am thankful for this site, the daily dose of humor and atrocity tourism it provides me with, the truth that it has opened me too, the venting that it provides and the fact that I can use my otherwise liberated ten bux on something more productive ... like Digimon cards.

For all of its shortcomings, I'm glad I live in a country where people can eat a huge meal once a year and watch television the rest of the day. I hope things get a little less tense between regular people as far as politics go this coming year.

I'm thankful I didn't have to go to work today. Telemarketing on holidays is a sure way to make no sales.

Thats back when Hirtes was still here. I remember him making several non-sequitur ham comments towards Naylor after that. Funny shit, and I agree, funniest thing Naylor has ever done.
