Or they could be referring to the Egyptian deity Anon, or "the nameless one" who was one of the few non-animal headed Egyptian gods.

Or they could be referring to the Egyptian deity Anon, or "the nameless one" who was one of the few non-animal headed Egyptian gods.


I think it can also be used as a substitute for quickly ie "We must be away anon" or something...not sure though.
