I'm not trying to advertise or anything, but I encountered a great way to whittle a boring day away. Behold, the Hero Machine:
Clickity
It's a flash-based program where you can create a character from various parts. I found it quite enjoyable. Heck, I made a couple 'heroes".

Hmm, funny. It works perfectly fine for me...
I use Pixelcase.net for it (and paid to use it, darnit). I've used it in the past and I didn't hear any problems. Does anyone know what could cause the problem? |

Ack. I still don't understand who imagined that bigger swords are better than smaller ones. And this folk is wielding one on each hand!
On medieval European swords, you're supposed to find a balance between weight and size, so a sword should be small enough to be handled swiftly, yet heavy enough to penetrate a helmet, chainmall or shield. Swords from the early middle ages used to be about a yard long and were not wider than two inches, and wheighed about three pounds. There were bigger swords manufactured later, but those were supposed to be wielded with both hands so they were actually usable in combat.
