I felt this should be here as there's no way in hell Will ever went near anything furry. Hell I don't even think he really had any anthro characters.

Wonder what he would have thought of furry though?

I've never read anything by him, but I've heard A Contract With God is good.

I don't. Hopefully he spent his 87 years on this Earth having never even heard of it.

Regardless, shock and tears rippled through the fandom at news of his death. While most furries responded with apathy or ignorance to, say, Arafat's passing, the MUCKs were aglow with eulogies for Eisner.

Expect a small flood of Eisner related art on the VCL as furry artists attempt to grab some attention from his passing.

If anything ever makes me want to douse a furry in gin and set him ablaze, it's when they do that.

SEE HOW SAD MY FOXIEHERM IS AT HIS PASSING! HIS DEATH IS TRIVIAL! MY ANGST IS EVERYTHING! CAN I BE POPULAR CUZ I'M SAD TOO???

You know, there is a pile of neglected Isaac Asimov books in a box... which is also neglected... and I can see one of the covers... *tear rolls down cheek*

Just so you all know, he did the art for Asimov's books.

In case there's any confusion...

Are you sure you're not thinking of Frank Kelly Freas?

A sad day indeed. But don't worry, they're only putting him in the Disney vault for a while so they can bring him back as a special edition.
