In about a week or so, it will once again be time for California Clusterfuck, I mean, Further Confusion, the big northern California nerdcon where nerds gather to nerd it up and stuff. As usual, my enormous-breasted ex-stripper girlfriend is taking me there and I expect we'll follow our usual itinerary. Which means she'll blow all her money on stuffed animals so I have to pay for parking. I'm out of the furry loop so I always end up doing a lot of thumb-twiddling at these things while she hobnobs with the cream of the nerdcrop. So lonely.

Anyway, the point is, is anyone else here is going to this thing? If so, look for me. I'll be the guy with the crying soul.

I've banged my head on the nearest hard surface after pondering the chance that maybe I might want to go because of the convenient location. In that case I'd have to make a fake ID and put a sign similar to this on my group's door.

This is what happened at the last nerd convention I attended.

Menacing people in the elevators was especially fun. In that last one, I was looking at myself in the elevator mirror and giggling because of the sheer ridiculousness of the situation, but I got over it.

Last one I attended was '03 - and I used to live less than a mile away from FC.

I won't be attending, even if it is only 4 hours away. I rather enjoy my 'not a furry' premise; I left 'em all, and most are still pissed off, and the rest, don't give a fuck anyhow.

Neither do I.

However, it was fun wearing my badge in '03 with a superimposed SA Grenade. A few recognized it, and dare not say a word..

Ah well.

I might go to one of the Euro cons. Which are probably a little less creepy, even if they are invarioubly in Germany. But there's been talk of a British con for decades now. If they ever manage to sort that out, I'll be the first to sign up. Might be a laugh.

Corse here, we tend to just organise little meets in a pub somewhere. Talk about furries and get pissed. A good weekend for me.
