Post subject: What is a "Green Room" |
|

I may regret asking this, but with C.S.I. coming up, what does the term "Green Room" mean in the Fursuiter vernacular? It came up recently
"elsewhere" in regards a Furry event.
I seem to recall running into it before as relates to cons/furry events either
in ALF or AFF, and I sure hope my memory is wrong. |

In theatrical circles, the "Green Room" is just a room where actors wait to go on stage, and I'm pretty sure it has the same meaning in the wacky world of fursuiting. Unless, of course, any "insiders" can tell us different! |

Actually, it's not called a "green room" as much as a headless lounge, at least for general fursuiting activity. The masquerades have green rooms, but they are usually nothing more then the headless lounge. |

Green Room
noun
The green Room is a staging area where cosplayers prepare to display their work (a costume of a character) to the people watching a "masquerade".
Generally this is a place where the cosplayer prepares their skit/presentation before actually going onstage. |
