Okay, the whole site was down yesterday because the server had some kind of RAID-related disaster, and the hosting company had to restore from ~~last Sunday's backup~~ a backup dated 17th April(!?). I should point out this is only their third outage in a year, and their worst yet.

Also, the reason the forum was deactivated last week was to conserve bandwidth. I'd rather have the forum unavailable for a couple of days than have the main site out of reach, since to go by the access logs a lot of people visit the site but not the forum. Actually, a lot of people are scared to visit the forum, on account of how much it resembles FYAD, but that's another story.... AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE

I don't know which disturbs me more, that the hosting company didn't have a more recent backup lying around , or that they've already had three outages this year.

you know, everytime Mucha Lucha comes on Cartoon Network, I think of that one thing he went off on one time about overly elaborate fanfics .. and made this funny breakdown of the Flea's personality complex... or something .. :)
