I've seen her mentioned enough times in the articles to wonder about her identity and what else she has done beyond writing essays on why BESTIALITY IS HEALTHY AND FUN and being the child of a polygamous quasimarriage that makes her so popular..

Given the fact that we've had a Mark Merlino article, could a Sarah Wheeler rant not be too far behind?

She's more forgivable than Merlino mostly because she and her sister were (apparently) abused badly by their family. Or so either she or her sister (I forget which) was claiming on her website last time I read it a year and a half ago.

However, such an article would be very insightful as it would reveal a lot about what makes this breed of furry, the insane schizophrenic female artist type, tick. As if Ashryn wasn't enough of a laugh riot.

I remember on FurNet (YiffNet) IRC, Manawolf used to frequent there a lot, associating with a couple other furries I knew who were into polyamorous relationships and had one going on. One of them is in fact a very prominent furry artist to this day, fetching quite a lot of money for her works. Basically the polyamorous guy was trying to get into Wheeler's pants and she eventually blew up and left for some reason, then got into bestiality. She was quite unstable at the time but has become worse since then (about 1998).

Also: Bobby: So Manawolf was more sane back in 1998? Portal Of Evil only discovered her after Fatalis and the beastiality essay and all that so this is news to me. Speaking of her beastiality record, she's claimed numerous times that she doesn't practice, only advocates. Have you heard information to the contrary?

As for the abuse, much of that is inferred; there used to be more info on her childhood somewhere on her site but I can't find it. What I've heard of her family history almost explains her behavior. Almost.

As far as I know, she doesn't. Her brain popped a clutch sometime back and hasn't been right since. So god only knows if she does or doesn't practice.

If this is the incident that I remember, she basically had an online relationship with a guy and when he started talking dirty to her she told him to stop it. He didn't and the TSed (TinySex, another term and pretty furry specific for cybersex) her and she freaked. Declared it rape and tried to bring the guy up on charges. I think everyone involved said "Why the fuck didn't you just leave?"

I think the worst part about anything having to do with Manawolf is the fact that she lives ten miles from me. She could be ANYWHERE. :((((((((((
