Something to the effect of the above, but for furry stories.

Some ideas that immediately spring to mind are the "Furry Space Opera" and the "Classic Transformation" plots...

This would be redundant. Furry is a meta-genre that includes quite a few genres, such as science fiction, sword 'n' sorceror fantasy, fairy tale -- anything except for nonfiction. "Furry Space Opera" is still Space Opera with cat-girls, for example, instead of sexually insatiable alien women with green skin. The characters may change, but the overall plot themes will not.

Yes, people can read stories written many different ways, but we are creatures of classification, because we think in binary patterns, cause and effect, and a multitude of variables should just be a nice doily under the coffee cup of simple truisms. I think you could identify most books to fix some plot pattern, naturally people are going to enjoy some patterns in droves, as opposed to only a handful for others. Sorta like music...

But when you start getting into these subdivisions, you are just trying to cup a continuous gray strip into nice shades. Most will seem to fit, but enough counterexamples can be found. People may be predictable, but some have genuine creativity.

Furry is a meta-genre that includes quite a few genres, such as science fiction, sword 'n' sorceror fantasy, fairy tale -- anything except for nonfiction.

And 'erotica', mostly erotica. You're still lurking about dude? I thought you were too cool to hang with the haters.

No, no, no, you're still missing the point. The problem isn't furries who know this is fictional but the ones who first earnestly wish it was nonfictional and second the ones who really believe all of the above are nonfiction.

Seriously. Some people in furry really and truly believe morphs and such are already here and being made in labs and they're just around the corner from their own cute fuckable furry playmate.

Too bad that said playmate is likely to be around a forty year corner, most likely engineered for combat, and intensely hostile to being skritched. Or, maybe not too bad.

"Did you hear what happened to (insert furry here)? I hear they're still scraping pieces out of the wall and carpet."

That's not the worst part... I think he just blew me off when I asked him for an interveiw. Not suprised, he acts likes he's too big for his britches.

Two men, one cage. A ticket straight to hell. WWE RAW kicks off with the midweight title match between Flipper and the Red State Werewolf. Two will go in, one will come out.

Go to channel 559 to find out the pay-per-view options for this event.

If you're going to tell about it, at least get it right. All I did was point out that there had already been four threads dedicated to me five months before you arrived here, and that starting another might not be appreciated by regulars who were here.

If you still want an interview, just name the time.

And as for you, don't confuse the fact that I don't feel compelled to answer each and every negative comment about the fandom with feeling "too cool".

From what I gathered by reading your website it looks like drama and conflict are your primary means of justifying your own existence

By which I assume you mean the drama and conflict of others (articles about the Burned Furs, etc.) In which case GUESS WHAT SO DO WE. :D
