...Thing is, I've been agonizing over it for months and months and could never quite get it sounding right. I'm not sure if I responded to every one of his statements, or rather to the right statements, and I sense a whininess in my tone that I could never quite iron out. So I'm putting it up for the dear readers of this board to see what you guys think.

Hmm, maybe I'm just desensitized but it doesn't sound obnoxiously whiny to me. My pain problem is that since this is a resonse to a response it's getting hard to keep track of what you guys are refering to with each comment. Although jamming all these responses back into the original article might not help much.

BTW, what's all this about Schwartz's knees?

I'll see what I can do about clearing it up. Some of it really confused people, and the thing reads like a message board post anyway, so why not take it to the next (quote) level?

One of the more notable identifiers of Schwartz's work is that he draws knees funny, in addition to other stuff.

As an artist m"self,here"s a list of the most pain in the ass parts to get right:hands,shoulder /armpit area,knees ,ankles ,the neck/shoulder line,feet.it's always a challenge to a capable artist and a stumbling block to the half assed.(Jerry)

Sounds more like a bitter jealous hack artist who envies the amount of popularity and skill another person has to me.

Just an outside observation.

And maybe using an eraser. Do you ever clean up your work before submitting it for publishing? I mean really, you're past comic work has been terrible. The company obviously must have been hurting for work to print, cause I don't think I've actually seen clean lined and inked finished work from you (that didn't involve a deer in leather bondage gear) in ages.

Look, It's so painfully obvious that the pervs own the roost in the Fur household. It's also the same problem in the Anime fandumb as well.

Trust me I should know, I walk the line in both fandoms. Mostly between.

It's sad really. Most Anime fans and Furs take themselves so seriously that they are unable to see the harsh reality in front of them.

That reality is that this is reality and you must live in it.

It's fun to write about or draw furs, and it's the same when dealing with the Anime/MAnga genere. But all in all it's for fun.

The pervs are only intrested in the wanking, and the drama queens think their droppings don't reek. That, and that fat sumo-wrestler looking dude in the sailor suit over there is starting to annoy me.

The only thing that keeps me sane is my sense of humor. If I lost that I would be just another drone in the Fur/Anime Fandumb collective.
